Session 2 - Numbers

Explore the objectives of this session and the ordered sequence of games connected to it.

Grammar objectives

Count aloud, answer "How many…?", and follow numbers inside an instruction ("three jumps", "groups of four"). Move from single words to short full sentences by the end of the session.

Action objectives

React to a called number: grab that many cones, form a group that size, or run to that marker — then say the number back. Played out in Passing Game, Group Forming Game and Number relay.

Lexical objectives

Numbers in English — 1 to 10 first, then up to 20 once the group is ready — counted, heard and said back.
