Numbers

Explore the objectives of this session and the ordered sequence of games connected to it.

Grammar objectives

Count aloud, answer "How many…?", and follow numbers inside an instruction ("three jumps", "groups of four"). Aim for full sentences and real exchanges between participants, whatever their level.

Action objectives

React to a called number: grab that many cones, form a group that size, or run to that marker — then say the number back. Less prompting than the first pass: the group is expected to answer at game speed. Played out in Touch the cones, Parcour and Forming groups.

Lexical objectives

Numbers in English — 1 to 10 first, then up to 20 once the group is ready — counted, heard and said back. A return to the topic — the words should come without flashcards this time.
