Colours' repetition

We form a circle and sit down, then we repeat the “My name is…” circle. After that, we do a revision of the colours and maybe also ask the children which is their favourite colour: "What is your favourite colour?"

Numbers' introduction

The teachers show and say the numbers, one at a time, in order, and then ask the children, ‘What number is this?’ in random order.

Run to the numbers

The teachers get the children to stand up, place the flashcards on the floor, and call out the number to be touched: "The number is..." (if there are more than 10 children, it works better to touch with the tip of the foot). At first, we run alongside the children and touch the named numbers. Then we give the children more independence.
